If you want to spend your vacation in our Pension Strauß, you have the choice between lake-view rooms including breakfast in the "Haus Hannelore" and apartments in the countryside in the "Haus Hoisl". Surrounded by a wonderful natural landscape, you can really relax here. Of course, this also includes the private beach. On our 4,000 m² lakefront property you can swim, barbecue and chill out. The nearest restaurant or grocery store is only 200 meters away, and the center of the village of Ossiach is only a 15-minute walk away.

We are Regina, Hans, Julian and Stefanie and we make sure that your vacation will be relaxed, cozy and unforgettable. If you have any wishes or need tips, please contact us. Regina not only prepares regional delicacies such as the famous Carinthian Reindling and homemade jams, she also deals intensively with herbs, their healing effects and what you can make from them. Hans takes care of everything around the house. He also makes the wonderful juices from elderberries, grapes and apples from our own garden, and there is grandma Hannelore, who prepares fantastic curd spreads... and much more!

WASSER FUN – At a apartement house on the lake, of course, the themes of water fun and water sports are a top priority here. Besides swimming, paddling and rowing, there is a lot on offer around the lake: Boat rental, water skiing including school, tire and banana rides, diving courses, Ossiachersee boat trip....
HIKERS will find wonderful trails where they can enjoy the beauty of our natural landscapes. Especially popular are the Slow Trail Bleistätter Moor nearby, the Peterlewand, the Steindorfer and Finsterbacher waterfalls, the Ossiacher Tauern, the Gerlitzen, the Dobratsch...
Carinthia is a true paradise for CYCLISTS. If you want to take it easy, you can cycle along Lake Ossiach without any ascents, but mountain bikers will find their challenge here, as well as racing cyclists. Afterwards enjoy a rest at the lake, in a café or in one of the cozy guest gardens.
